KENYAN MATOKE

INGREDIENTS

  1. Beef pieces, about 200g
  2. Onion, small
  3. Tomato small
  4. Dhania 1 bunch
  5. Matoke (cooking bananas) 2 cups when chopped and skinned

 

METHOD

  1. Boil your beef in salted water till tender.
  2. Saute your Onion with cooking oil, add dhania and tomato, about 6 minutes on lower heat.
  3. Add the chopped matoke, bring to a simmer and add your favorite spice mixes, simmer for about 10 minutes and remove from fire.
  4. Add a few more dhania leaves and serve
